Neetu Chandra opens up on suicidal thoughts

Neetu Chandra, who has worked in films like Traffic Signal, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, and Apartment, recently opened up on having suicidal thoughts while talking about late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Recalling one of her auditions, Neetu said, “A casting director, who is quite famous but I don’t want to take his name, told me within an hour of the audition, ‘I am really sorry Neetu, this is not working out’. You literally auditioned me to reject me so that you can kill my confidence.”

Neetu also discussed the challenges and the struggles she is currently facing on the personal as well as professional front. Neetu described her career as the ‘failure story of a successful actress’. She added, “My story is a failure story of a successful actor. Having worked with 13 National Award-winners and in such big films, today I am nowhere. I was told by a big businessman that he would give me Rs 25 lakh per month if I became his salaried wife.” —TMS
