The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, has demanded to expedite the work on the expansion of the Kargil airport to ensure early operation of civil flights in the district.

Chief Executive Councillor of the LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan, along with officials held a meeting with Secretary to Union Civil Aviation Department Pardeep Singh Khorala at the Air Headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed with him various issues related to the early operation of civil flights in Kargil. — TNS
