KU VC releases newsletter of economic meet

Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath SaChandigarheva released the newsletter of the 107th annual conference of the Indian Economic Association on Tuesday.

The KU’s Department of Economics, in collaboration with the Indian Economic Association, is going to organise the Annual Conference from December 27 to 29.

While releasing the newsletter, VC SaChandigarheva said in the context of India’s development aspirations, the conference held immense significance for the faculty and research scholars of the economics department. To make India a developed nation by 2047, there was a need to address the pressing concerns of economic inequality, regional disparities and social inclusiveness, he said. These issues would be discussed extensively in this conference, he added.
