Kurukshetra varsity’s Sports Council president elected

Dr Ashok Chaudhary, Principal of MN College, Shahabad, has been elected the president of Kurukshetra University Sports Council, while Arya College, Ambala Cantonment, Principal Dr Anupama Arya has been elected the vice-president of the council.

As per a KU spokesperson, the annual general meeting of the Sports Council was held on Tuesday. After passing the annual budget of the sports council, elections were held for the posts of president and vice-president of the council.

KU Vice Chancellor Som Nath Sachdeva congratulated the new office-bearers. Deputy Director, Public Relations Department, Dr Jimmy Sharma said 60 had cast votes. Dr Anupama Arya was elected unopposed to the post of vice-president of KU Sports Council.
