Rajya Sabha MP and former minister Kiran Choudhry has assured residents of Bhiwani district that there will be no shortage of drinking water, canal water for irrigation, or electricity in the region. During her visit to several villages, including Rajpura Kharkadi, Bapoda, Biran, Dhani Biran, Sagwan, and Alakhpura, the BJP MP promised infrastructure improvements and adequate supplies for rural development.

“There will be no problem with electricity and water in the villages. Water tanks will be constructed in areas that need additional supply, and farmers will receive sufficient canal water for irrigation,” she said. Choudhry further committed to addressing long-standing development issues by ensuring the completion of pending projects and providing grants for infrastructure. “Sufficient grants will be allocated for the construction of streets and drains in villages,” she added.

In Biran village, Choudhry announced Rs 21 lakh to pave drains and streets and pledged an additional Rs 15 lakh for the construction of Ambedkar Bhawan in Dang Khurd village.

Addressing concerns about the availability of DAP fertiliser, Choudhry reassured residents that the supply was being managed according to district requirements. “We have held talks with the Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister to ensure DAP is distributed as needed,” she said.

Choudhry emphasised that the central and state BJP governments are committed to the spirit of Antyodaya, aiming to uplift the most vulnerable. She highlighted that numerous government schemes have benefitted the needy and underprivileged in her constituency. Expressing gratitude for the community’s support, she stated her commitment to advancing development efforts across villages, dhanis and communities.
