Kinnaur DC reviews progress of key developmental projects
Kinnaur Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Sharma conducted a review meeting with the district department heads today at the Deputy Commissioner’s office conference hall. The meeting aimed to assess the progress of various developmental projects being implemented across the district.
Sharma directed all departmental officials to integrate with the e-Office system to achieve the goal of making government offices paperless. He sought detailed reports on the policies and schemes being executed by departments such as Revenue, Electricity, Public Works, Health, Education, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Jal Shakti and the Programme Departments. He also instructed officials to complete all pending tasks within stipulated timelines.
Additionally, the DC emphasised the implementation of the “Apna Vidyalaya Yojana” (My School-My Pride), instructing all department heads to ensure the adoption of at least one school under this initiative. He announced that review meetings with departments would be held every Tuesday to monitor the progress effectively.
Earlier during the day, the Deputy Commissioner led the department heads and officials in taking the Constitution Preamble Oath to mark Constitution Day.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kalpa, Major Shashank Gupta, Assistant Commissioner to DC OP Yadav, along with other officials and staff from various departments, were present at the meeting.
