Kejriwal will vacate official house within 15 days: AAP MP

Arvind Kejriwal will vacate the official Chief Minister’s residence and security within 15 days said AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Tuesday.

Kejriwal tendered his resignation to the Lieutenant-Governor VK Saxena on Tuesday and Atishi was chosen the leaders of the AAP legislature party. Atishi has staked her claim to form the government.

Meanwhile, Singh said after resigning from the post of CM, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has decided to give up all government facilities, including official residence and security and live like a common man.

“Search is on for a suitable accommodation for Arvind Kejriwal and his family and he will vacate the CM’s official residence within 15 days,” added Singh. The AAP Rajya Sabha MP said for the last two years, the BJP has been levelling false allegations against Kejriwal to defame him.
