Kejriwal urges AAP volunteers to intensify outreach campaigns
As Delhi Assembly elections draw near, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has intensified its campaign with party national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal personally reaching out to volunteers through multiple platforms to engage with the cadre.
He urged the volunteers to amplify the achievements of the AAP-led Delhi Government, especially its welfare schemes being offered to Delhi residents.
On Tuesday, Kejriwal connected with over 500 women volunteers and Women’s Wing chairperson Sarika Chaudhary through a video call, emphasising the importance of spreading awareness about the government’s key welfare initiatives.
During the video call, women volunteers shared their experiences of going door to door and conducting small gatherings in their communities.
The volunteers highlighted major schemes — free electricity, water, quality education, healthcare, free bus travel for women and senior citizen pilgrimages — as the cornerstone of their outreach efforts.
“Delhiites believe that if another government comes to the power, these welfare services will vanish and the city will regress to its condition from a decade ago,” a volunteer said.
Thanking the volunteers for their dedication, Kejriwal encouraged them to intensify their outreach by organising more neighborhood meetings and creating teams to expand the reach of their campaign.
He also advised volunteers to communicate the benefits of AAP’s welfare programmes and the potential consequences of discontinuing them.
