The Child Friendly Committee and Cyber Congress Club of the school introduced its debut podcast episode, ‘Espresso Exchange’ – A Talk Show, spotlighting ‘Cyber Safety’ and ‘Social Media Responsibility’ for the students of classes XI and XII. It included a powerful and timely panel discussion on the topic of ‘Cybernetics and Netiquettes’ which enabled students to dive deep into realities of cyber safety, online conduct and the pervasive effects of social media on mental health. The session guided the audience through a range of discussions with key experts in cyber security, psychology, law and digital citizenship over varied issues like excessive selfie taking to panicking over lost followers, risks of digital addiction and its toll on mental health. The event concluded with the message to promote the ethical way of using the Internet and to develop self-esteem and good mental health.
