Kathua Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas chaired a preparatory meeting with officers concerned for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) examination for the post of police constables.

The JKSSB written examination for the post of police constables is scheduled for December 1, 2024, from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Minhas conducted detailed discussions with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination. It was decided that a total of 38 examination centres will be established across the district to accommodate approximately 16,500 candidates.

The meeting focused on essential arrangements, including drinking water facilities, power supply, seating arrangements, security protocols and videography procedures.

The DC emphasised the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders. He also assigned specific responsibilities to officers to facilitate the examination’s smooth execution across the district.
