Karnal girl bags bronze in taekwondo

Karnal, August 21

Prishita, a student of Class-V at Dyal Singh School, has brought laurels to the city as she bagged bronze medal in freestyle taekwondo poomsae competition at the 3rd Sub-Junior and Cadet Taekwondo Championship held in Kanpur.

Last year, Prishita had won a bronze medal in the CBSE zonal competition held in Patiala.

Vinod Saini, state General Secretary of India Taekwondo, appreciated Prishita and said her performance was outstanding. “She has worked hard to achieve the medal. We are hopeful she will win gold in the coming tournaments,” Saini added.

Her parents Dr Rajiv Panwar and Tapsya Panwar said it was Prishita’s determination due to which she achieved so much at an early age.
