Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ambala, today arrested Kanungo Karambir Singh who is working in Panchkula district, while taking Rs 5 lakh in bribe in Kaithal.

The team also found the involvement of Chandra Singh Dhanda in this case and arrested him too.

The police said both suspects had already accepted Rs 20 lakh from the complainant.

The bureau had received a complaint that Karambir was demanding ? 5 lakh for releasing land and providing the letter related to demarcation. In this case, a bribe of Rs 20 lakh had already been taken by the accused.
