Kangra Lok Sabha MP and state vice-president of the BJP Rajiv Bhardwaj has been appointed as the State Election Officer for the party’s organisational elections in Himachal. OBC Morcha national president and National Organisational Election Officer K Laxman made the appointment today.

BJP state vice-president and former minister Rajiv Saizal and another state vice-president Sanjeev Katwal were appointed State Co-Election Officers. After assuming charge in the presence of state BJP president Rajeev Bindal, Bhardwaj said that his team would take forward the process of the organisational elections in Himachal Pradesh in the next three months.

MLA Pawan Kajal has been made the BJP’s district election in-charge for Chamba, Sanjay Sharma for Palampur, Vikram Thakur for Hamirpur, Trilok Jamwal MLA for Una, MLA Randhir Sharma for Dehra, former minister Rajendra Garg for Sundernagar, MLA Rakesh Jamwal for Mandi, Payal Vaidya for Kullu, Govind Thakur for Kinnaur, Vinod Kumar for Lahaul and Spiti, MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary for Mahasu, MLA Satpal Singh Satti for Shimla district, Bihari Lal Sharma for Solan and Daisy Thakur for Sirmaur.
