Kabir Waraich bagged the top spot in the autocross challenge on the concluding day of the 9th OYA Autocross, Motocross and Offroading challenge, organised by the Old Yadavindra Association at PUDA ground (Phase 8) in Mohali.

Dheeraj Malik, Kabir Waraich, Manoj Kumar, Deepam Prajapati, Mohit Malik, Atul Bansal, Sahil Khanna and Karan Sharma competed in the final round.

Waraich bagged the first position in 1:13.323, followed by Sahil Khanna at second position. City’s off-roading champ Prajapati claimed the third position.

In the motocross, Santosh Bishnoi claimed the top spot under Class –II (165-220CC) category, while Ankush and Prithvi Dhillon remained the front runner in Class 1 (upto 165 CC) and Open categories, respectively. In SUV offroading, Amit grabbed the top position, followed by Bhopender at second position.

In the stock category, Gurlal Dhaliwal won the top podium position, followed by Vijay Verma at second position and Dhiraj Malik at third. In the extreme category, Sachin Verma, Adil Khan and Karanjot claimed the top three positions, respectively.

Raghbir Singh won the specially-abled participants (F1) category title, while Digvijay Singh claimed the second position.
