Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru has announced this fellowship for Indian scientist doing distinguished work. Candidates must be proposed and recommended by two fellows in good standing.

Banaras Hindu University Malaviya Postdoctoral Fellowship
Banaras Hindu University has announced up to 100 positions for PhD holders in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and other such disciplines. This three-year fellowship can be extended to five years on the favorable evaluation of the research.
Eligibility: PhD degree holders from a notable institute, with a good academic record throughout and a postdoctoral experience of three years from the top 500 institutions according to THE or QS rankings.
Details: Monthly stipend of Rs 1 lakh, an annual research grant of Rs 3 lakh and campus accommodation will be provided to the selected scholars.

National Overseas Scholarship Scheme
To support the overseas higher education of low-income reserved category students, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GOI has introduced this scholarship.
Eligibility: Indian students below the age of 35 years who want to pursue a master’s or a PhD degree from abroad are eligible to apply. The applicant must be from one of the reserved categories (Scheduled Castes / Denotified Nomadic Tribes / Semi-Nomadic Tribes/ Landless/ Agricultural Labourers/ Traditional Artisans) with at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs 8 lakh.
Details: Selected candidates will be awarded annual maintenance up to $15,400 and UK students up to GBP 9,000 with other benefits like contingency allowance, tuition fee cover, visa-fee and more.

Sardar Patel Scholarship
Buddy4Study India Foundation invites scholarship applications from students studying in the 1st/2nd year of graduation. The scholarship programme is meant to support the higher education of deserving underprivileged students.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open for students studying in the 1st/2nd year of a 3-year graduation programme (in any stream) from a recognised university/institution. The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 6 lakh per annum.
Details: Selected students will get scholarship of Rs 15,000
