In the Assembly elections, regional players Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were left with no reason to celebrate. The JJP, which played the kingmaker in the 2019 elections with 10 seats, failed to secure any seat this time. Similarly, the AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, failed to open its account for the third consecutive time in Kejriwal’s home state, garnering just 1.79 per cent of the votes.

The JJP witnessed its worst-ever performance, dropping to a mere 0.9 per cent vote share, a sharp decline from 14.84 per cent in 2019. Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, who won by over 47,000 votes from Uchana Kalan in 2019, was placed fifth in this poll.

On the other hand, the INLD showed signs of a minor revival, winning two seats and increasing its vote share to 4.14 per cent from 2.44 per cent in 2019.
