Two youths who were returning home after attending a birthday bash late Tuesday evening died in a road accident near Kartarpur.

An Alto car in which they were travelling had got hit in which three more youths suffered serious injuries and are hospitalised. Among the deceased was Kamaljit Singh, son of a furniture trader, at Vishwakarma Market of Kartarpur.

Jasmeen Singh, who had got injured and was admitted in a hospital at Rama Mandi, succumbed to his wounds this afternoon. The deaths of two youth from the town made the residents grief stricken.
