District BJP president Nipun Sharma said Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee, son of Mother India who sacrificed his life for the nation, will always be our guide. By abolishing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has realised the unfulfilled dreams of Syama Prasad.

Former minister Vijay Sampla said Mukherjee’s ideals would always inspire millions of people across the country. Dr Mukherjee dedicated his life to the unity and progress of the country. He also established himself as a notable scholar and intellectual.

He said the family that made Dr Syama Prasad Mookherjee’s ideology grow from a sapling to a banyan tree is the foundation stone of today’s Bharatiya Janata Party. These families were neither ever influenced by greed for power nor were they corrupted by the heat of the opposition. Today, the BJP is setting new dimensions by working in the national interest by following the path shown by him.
