Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has failed, says Raja Warring; Partap Bajwa appeals voters not to vote for AAP
Jalandhar, July 8
PCC chief Amarinder S Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa held a joint press conference on the last day of the campaign for Jalandhar West bypoll.
Warring said Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann had failed to solve the problems of employee unions. All roads leading to the venue of his events were blocked to keep employees at bay.
The PPC chief added a grant of GOI worth Rs 550 crore had been withheld because of naming of school development scheme. He said that even Moong dal growers are disillusioned.
Warring said Punjab has gone back by 25 years in 2.5 years of CM Mann’s rule.
LoP Partap Bajwa appeals to the voters not to vote for AAP to save democracy.
He said, “Governor Banwari Lal Purohit must pay attention to his own administration and police. They are partners in crime with the AAP.”
Bajwa said, “25 DSPs from across Punjab are deputed in 23 wards each of Jalandhar West. The AAP shall try to capture booths on poll day. As many as 12,000 stitched suits have been brought to be given as poll dole to the women voters of the area.
“Why has Mann not contradicted Sheetal Angural’s claims in audio so far. I dare Sunil Jakhar to get Angural’s audio released today. If it is not done, it will be believed that the AAP and BJP are pally with one another in this election”, says Bajwa.
Warring has warned CP, DC, RO, DSPs of acting at the behest of the government on poll day. “I and Bajwa will sit at Commissioner’s office on poll day,” he said.
