Principal Secy questions civic body officials

Principal Secretary of Local Bodies Ajoy Sharma visited the city today and sought answers from MC officials for not carrying out works under Smart City projects. He also expressed disappointment over not doing anything for city residents.

He questioned the officials over the failure to provide basic amenities to people. MC superintendents, XENs and other officials from B&R, O&M and Smart City remained present.

As per information, all officials remained mum. However, they started giving explanation to the MC Commissioner after the meeting ended.

According to reports, the MC Commissioner asked the officials to make things work in the next 10 days else face notices.
