Pension complaints addressed by PSPCL
A special team from Patiala of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) addressed several pension-related grievances of retired employees during a meeting held at Shakti Sadan, the North Zone head office of PSPCL here.
The team reviewed the complaints and issued directives to ensure that paperwork for employees nearing retirement is completed well before the end of their service.
The meeting was chaired by Sukhwinder Singh, Deputy Chief Engineer, along with Deputy Chief Engineer Balwinder Pal, Deputy Secretary Nisha Rani and among others. Numerous officials from the North Zone also participated in the discussions.
Officials disclosed that 146 employees from North Zone Jalandhar are expected to retire by June next year, prompting the need to expedite pension-related paperwork for these employees.
During the meeting, 45 complaints were resolved on the spot, and the files of 35 additional employees were approved, with their issues set to be resolved soon.
Employees were encouraged to check the status of their cases online. Several key officials from the North Zone, including Circle officers, Superintendents, Accountants and Senior Assistants, were also present at the meeting.
