The third day of the 65th Inter-Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival, organised by Panjab University, Chandigarh, was filled with enthusiasm and a spirit of healthy competition at DAV College, Hoshiarpur.

The morning session had Former Minister Tikshan Sood as the Chief Guest and Nikas Kumar, ADC, Development, as the special guest. Both were welcomed by Dr Anoop Kumar, president of the College Management Committee, Vice-President RM Bhalla and Principal Dr Vinay Kumar.

The morning session featured an exciting line-up of cultural events, including Mime, One-Act Plays, and Kavishri, where participants captivated the audience with powerful performances. The Mime and One-Act Play competitions stood out as the students skilfully addressed various social issues, using humour, drama and thought-provoking themes to convey meaningful messages. One of the highlights of the day was the Folk Orchestra performance, where students showcased their musical talents with traditional instruments, creating an enthralling atmosphere.

In the evening, Shiromani Akali Dal’s senior vice-president Jatinder Singh Lali was the Chief Guest.
