The Round Glass Hockey Academy, Mohali, defeated Odisha Naval Tata High Performance Centre, Bhubaneswar, by 5-2 to clinch the title of the 18th All-India Balwant Singh Kapur Hockey Tournament for Mata Prakash Kaur Cup (Under 19 Boys). Both teams put up a good show in the final match played at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium. NCOE Sonepat defeated Sports Hostel, Lucknow, by 3-1 to clinch the third position.

The prizes were distributed to the winning teams by businessman Sajjan Jindal, Chairman, JSW Group. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh and the Mata Prakash Kaur Cup. The runner-up team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a runner-up trophy.

The third-placed NCOE Sonepat was awarded a cash prize of Rs 80,000 and a trophy, while the fourth-placed team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 60,000. The team of Sports Hostel, Lucknow, was awarded the Fair Play Trophy and the Har Mohinder Kaur Memorial Trophy. The chief guest Sajjan Jindal was specially honoured by the tournament committee.

Vivek Lakra of the Odisha Naval Tata Bhubaneswar team was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Ashu Moryea of ​​NCOE, Sonepat team, was declared the best full back, Om Rajneesh Saini of the Round Glass Academy team was declared the best half back, Ketan Khushwaha of the Sports Hostel Lucknow team was declared the best forward. Gursewak Singh of the Round Glass Academy team was declared the best scorer and Adrohit Ekka of the Odisha Naval Tata Bhubaneswar team was declared the best emerging player of the tournament. All these players were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 10,000 each.

During the final match, in the fourth minute of the game, Amandeep of Round Glass converted the first penalty corner into a goal to make the score 1-0. In the 24th minute of the game, Adrohit Ekka of Odisha scored a goal to make the score 1-1.

In the 30th minute of the game, Mandeep Singh of Round Glass scored a goal to make the score 2-1. In the 34th minute of the third quarter of the game, Bilkan Oram of Odisha scored a goal to make the score 2-2.

In the 37th minute of the game, Gursewak Singh of Round Glass scored a goal through a penalty corner to make the score 3-2. The next minute, Gursewak Singh of Round Glass scored another goal to make the score 4-2. In the 58th minute of the game, Amandeep of Round Glass scored a goal to make the score 5-2.
