Haryana, Odisha, Dadar Nagar Haveli, Karnataka, Delhi and Tamil Nadu won their respective matches and earned three points each. The best hockey was witnessed on the third day during the 14th Hockey India Junior Men National Hockey Championship organised by Hockey Punjab at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar.

In the first match, Haryana defeated Jammu and Kashmir by a huge margin of 14-0. For the winning team, Amit Khasa, Manish, Ravi and Navraj scored two goals each, Nitan three, Prikshit Panchal one, Sunil Mann one and Sahil one.

In the second match, Odisha defeated Assam 13-0. For the winning team, Satish Munda scored four goals, Deepak Pradhan scored two goals, Pratap Topo scored two goals, Deonath Nanwar scored three goals, Karan Lakra and Padip Mandal scored one goal each. In the third match, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu defeated Arunachal Pradesh 4-2. For the winning team, Anand Kumar scored two goals, Akash one and Pramod Pal scored one. Meanwhile, Ashish and Piyush Singh scored one goal each from Arunachal Pradesh.

In the fourth match, Karnataka beat Andhra Pradesh 6-1. Gaurav, Pawan, Pawan Keero, AR Uthappa, Vivek Roy and Sunil scored goals for the winning team, while one goal was scored by Boney Prashant for Andhra Pradesh. In the fifth match, Delhi defeated Kerala 4-3 after a tight contest. Yuvraj Singh, Ashu Kumar, Rahul and Harsh Kumar scored goals for Delhi, while Kaif Mohammad scored two goals and Anjith one for Kerala. In the sixth match, Tamil Nadu won three points by defeating Gujarat.
