Gujral Nagar firing case takes a new turn

A firing case that took place at Gujral Nagar on September 8 has taken a new turn with an FIR getting registered against the complainants in the case on a fresh plaint filed by the accused.

The case assumes significance as a retired judge and a retired tehsildar have been involved in it. The previous FIR had been lodged against retired Sessions Judge Kishor Kumar, his brother and retired tehsildar Manohar Lal, Nishwant Dosanjh, who is ex-wife of NRI Amarpreet Singh Aulakh, her mother Balraj Pal Dosanjh, her brother Latinder Singh, alias Danny, and Mani Dhillon. Shooters in the case had been arrested.

Now, accused in the previous case Balraj Pal Dosanjh, who hails from Partappura here and now resides in Canada, has got a case registered against her ex-son-in-law Aulakh and lawyer Gurmohan Singh (resident of Gujral Nagar) at NRI Police Station after she had submitted her complaint to ADGP, NRIs.

Balraj owns 16 acre, 3 kanal and 5 marla property at Partappura. She said she got the ownership of the land from her husband Raghbir Singh during his lifetime. She alleged that Aulakh and lawyer Gurmohan Singh had fabricated documents for sale of 3.5 acre of the land in Partappura through her husband for a consideration of Rs 40 lakh reportedly paid.

Balraj Pal said it could not have been executed without the permission from the government or the RBI as her husband was a Canadian citizen. After an inquiry, a case has been registered against Aulakh and owner of Gujral Nagar house Gurmohan Singh.
