MLU DAV College, Phagwara, proudly celebrated Green Diwali under the guidance of Principal Dr Kiranjeet Randhawa. The highlight of the event was a rangoli competition for students. The competition showcased the creativity and talent of the participants. Different designs were created out of organic colours.

Eco-friendly materials were used in shaping and making the designs. Natural decoration material like flower petals and rice were used as well as biodegradable material. The top three designs were selected and awarded with appreciation certificates.

Sharing her views, the principal encouraged the participants and commended them for their potential, creativity and talent. Emphasising on the importance of environment-friendly festivals, she stressed on the need for more sustainable and eco-friendly efforts to make the earth free of pollution.
