The Railway Police Force (RPF) has seized gold valued at approximately Rs 1.30 crore from a person at Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station.

The seizure occurred today when RPF officers intercepted a person, who was unable to provide document of the gold.

The weight of the seized gold is around 2.90 kg. The person could not provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the source of gold. Consequently, he was taken into custody, and the gold was impounded.
