Celebrating Vijay Diwas to commemorate victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan,? the Indian Army’s Vajra Corps hosted a ‘Weapons and Equipment ? Exhibition’ at the Punjab State War Memorial and Museum.

The schoolchildren and youth were enthralled by the display, as they got a lifetime opportunity to witness the functioning and handling of weapons and equipment and also a chance to interact with soldiers who satisfied their curiosity regarding the equipment on display.

A cultural extravaganza, movie clip and military campaigns, showcasing the rich heritage of the Indian Army, including the Battle of Saragarhi, have been planned. A fusion band concert and other events have been lined up for December 15 in the holy city to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the war against Pakistan.
