DAV BEd College wins overall trophy at zonal youth festival

DAV BEd College, Hoshiarpur, has won the overall trophy of the four-day Punjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival-2024. The college won the overall trophy by defeating about 33 colleges and winning a total of 48 awards in various events during the four-day festival (Zone-6, Education-A) organised from October 24 to October 28 at GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar (Ludhiana).

The students brought laurels to the college by securing first position in Group Song (Indian), Group Shabad, Group Song (Individual), Bhaand, Mime (Individual), One-Act Play (Individual), Bhangra, Bhangra (Individual), Traditional Song (Women), Traditional Song (Individual), Essay Writing, Pakkhi Designing, Bagh, Phulkari, Weaving, General Dance, Heritage Quiz, Gudiyaan Patole, Tokari, Peedi, Rassa Vatna, Mitti De Khidone, Innu, Folk Instrument, and General Dance (Individual).

President of Managing Committee Dr Anoop Kumar and Secretary DL Anand congratulated Principal Dr Vidhi Bhalla and all staff members for this excellent achievement.
