CT Group of Institutions inaugurated the 67th Zonal NASA Convention, welcoming over 1,200 architecture students from more than 50 institutions across north India. The three-day event, organised by the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA), aims to inspire young minds passionate about architectural design and innovation.

The convention attracted students from institutions such as Jindal School of Art and Architecture, Malviya National Institute of Technology and Lovely Professional University, among others. It provided a platform for students to engage in workshops, discussions and competitions, fostering collaboration and creativity in the field.

The event’s opening ceremony featured a panel discussion with leading architects. Surinder Bagha, recipient of the Michael Ventris Award and founder of the Sakaar Foundation, shared insights on the evolving role of architecture in society. Architect Sangeet Sharma, known for his sustainable designs, dwelled on the future of eco-friendly architecture, while author Pardeep Singh Mann spoke on the importance of innovation in architectural education.

Surinder Bagha highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “This convention allows young architects to explore new ideas and collaborate, shaping the future of our built environment.”

Throughout the day, students participated in hands-on workshops, including redesigning public spaces and virtual reality in architecture, gaining valuable practical experience.

The event was attended by CT Group leaders, including Chairman Charanjit Singh and Principal Shruti H Kapur, who praised the students’ enthusiasm. The day ended with cultural performances, setting the stage for further activities over the next two days. Special thanks were given to NASA India’s leadership for their support in making the event a success.
