Consul General of Canada visits Lovely varsity

The Consul General of Canada in Chandigarh Patrick Hebert paid a visit to Lovely Professional University (LPU), where he met Chancellor Ashok Mittal. During the meeting joint academic and research possibilities between LPU and Canada were talked about.

Several issues related with joint activities in relation to develop and strengthen relations between LPU and Canada, particularly on the lines of education and business, were also discussed.

The Canadian diplomat, with over 25 years of experience also shared his strong interest in international peace and security issues. On this occasion, various related issues were also mutually agreed upon including students and faculty exchange programmes. The guest also had a campus tour and conversed with some of the Canada aspirant students too. —
