The NSS unit of Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar, organised a ‘Swachhata hi Seva’ campaign, focusing on cleanliness and waste management.

The event saw volunteers, participating in a campus-wide cleanliness drive and other activities related to solid waste management.

Prof Kamlesh Singh Duggal, college OSD, encouraged the volunteers and staff to actively engage in the campaign, emphasising the importance of cleanliness and community service. The initiative was aimed at fostering a cleaner and more sustainable environment within the campus.

College NSS coordinator Lakhbir Singh, alongside Sonia Kundra, Mandeep Kaur, Jagjeet Kaur and other staff members, were present to support the campaign and motivate the participants. The event highlighted the role of students and staff in contributing to environmental awareness and maintaining a clean campus atmosphere.
