CM Mann redresses grievances of people

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday held Sarkar Tuhaade Dwaar programme at his residence here and addressed the grievances of people.
The Chief Minister, during interaction with people, said the first-of-its-kind initiative was aimed at facilitating the people. He said now the government was not being run from Chandigarh, but from the cities and towns across the state.
Mann said now the officers were visiting villages to resolve the grievances of people whereas earlier they had to visit the government offices.
The Chief Minister said he had set up his residence in Jalandhar so as to facilitate people from the Majha and Doaba regions for getting their works done.
He said it was a matter of pride and satisfaction that people who were coming here with complaints were getting their works done.
Mann said this scheme was delivering the desired results and was acting as a catalyst for resolving the issues of public.
Meanwhile, a woman who had came all the way from Ludhiana, praised the Chief Minister for this unique initiative.
She said her matter had been pending since long as none of the previous governments had ever bothered to get her work done. However, now the CM had passed on directions to get her work done.
