Disha, an initiative run and managed by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, organised third Annual Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony on Wednesday.

The event recognised high achievers from Class X from nearly 100 schools, along with their mentors and school principals. Through the ceremony, the hard work and resilience of the students was celebrated while emphasising the essential role of mentorship and support from the teachers. Students from Innocent Hearts College participated in cultural performances.

The awards were presented by Rajesh Jain, chairman of NVR Overseas, and VK Sareen, executive director at Punjab Housing Finance and former vice-principal of DAV College, along with Dr. Rohan Bowry (director, Innocent Hearts Eye Care Centre) and Palak Gupta Bowry (Director, CSR). Anup Bowry (chairman, Innocent Hearts Group) was also present. Rahul Jain (director, operations, IHGI) and Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju (director, academics, IHGI) welcomed the principals, teachers and students.
