Prince, a witness, recounted how the chariot, with no rider, suddenly entered the crowded place, hitting people and vehicles indiscriminately. He said the chariot and horses were believed to belong to a local service provider, Happy Ghori Wala, though the owner was not present, and the cause of the horses’ loss of control remained unknown.
