Athletes from the Chanan Vocational and Skill Training Centre performed outstandingly at the 25th State Olympics held in Ludhiana recently. The centre’s eight special athletes clinched an impressive total of 16 medals — three gold, seven silver and six bronze.

Announcing the achievement, Chanan Association president Upender Kaur Anand congratulated the athletes and lauded their efforts. She highlighted the remarkable dedication of the participants, who competed under the expert guidance of their coaches Joga Singh, Anu Sharma and Govind Singh. The event saw standout performances by Danish, Jaswinder Pal Kaur and Rahul, who brought home gold.

Silver and bronze medallists, including Rahul, Euro, Sakshi, Vishal, Bhavish and Geetesh, played a key role in boosting the medal tally for the centre. Speaking about the event, the organisation’s general secretary Manish Aggarwal praised the commitment and talent of the athletes, describing their performance as exemplary.
