Jalandhar: Various school branches of St. Soldier Group of Institutions celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. It was led by Group Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra. In all the school branches, the leelas of Lord Krishna were described in their own way. Little students came to school from their homes in the form of Radha Krishna. Students from kindergarten to higher classes of all the branches participated enthusiastically in this program. Group chairman Anil Chopra and vice chairperson Sangeeta Chopra congratulated the group staff on the festival of Janmashtami.

Swami Sant Dass Public School

Jalandhar: Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with traditional flavour and enthusiasm in the premises of Swami Sant Dass Public School. Dance, drama enactments on the life of Krishna, devotional singing and ‘Dahi Handi’ were part of the Janmashtami celebrations. Captivating colourful performance by the students of junior classes attired in traditional costumes stole the hearts of audience. The students depicted the birth of Lord Krishna conveying a message of victory of good over evil. Students truly communicated the messages that are synonymous with Lord Krishna’s life. The different classes made presentations depicting the varied images of his life from birth to youth, transporting the audience to a world of splendour, colour, myth and legend.

The Gurukul School

Jalandhar: Janmashtami was celebrated in ‘The Gurukul School’ with great fervor and heightened spirits. There were several colourful performances presented by students. The smell of flowers, the scent of camphor and the ringing of bells filled the air with excitement. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, the students shared the teachings of Lord Sri Krishna’s birth and life through hymns and speeches. Also the students depicted the life history of Lord Sri Krishna very beautifully through dance. Director Sushma Handa and Principal Radha Gakhar blessed all the students.

The Nobel School

Jalandhar: The festival of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at The Nobel School. School children took the form of Shri Krishna and Radha and presented the childhood play of Shri Krishna. Apart from Radha Krishna, children dressed as Vasudev, Devaki, cowherds and cowherds enthralled everyone. The programme started with the worship and aarti of Krishna. Little children presented fascinating cultural programs. The students of class IV and V enthralled the school environment by presenting Krishna Bhajan. Apart from this, students from grade 1st to 5th danced on religious songs and made everyone dance in the programme.

State Public School

Jalandhar: To cherish and celebrate the most awaited festival Janamashtmi, State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, merrily organises the Janamashtmi Celebration in the school premises. An inter-house one play competition was organised. Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House and Sahibzada Fateh Singh House won the competition. The blossom buddies adorned themselves in the attire of Radha and Krishna and enjoyed the event to the fullest.
