Brief: Man held with 500 gm heroin

Jalandhar: A man was arrested with 500 gm heroin. He has been identified as Kulwinder Singh of village Boot, Kapurthala. A police party during patrolling from Kharbuja Mandi arrested Kulwinder Singh and seized 100 gram of heroin. During interrogation, as per revelations made by Kulwinder, the police recovered 400 gram of heroin. TNS

3 arrested for stealing bikes

Phagwara: The police have arrested three miscreants for stealing motorcycles. The accused have been identified as Sajan, Jogindar Pal, both residents of Chak Vendal village, and Buta Singh of Chak Peer Pur village. The accused were indulging in stealing motorcycles. Two held in dowry case

Phagwara: The police have arrested two members of a family in a dowry harassment case. The accused are Manjit Kumar of Mohalla Ravidas Pura, Phillaur, and his mother Amarjit Kaur. Manju of Beer Pind village had filed a complaint to the police, that her in-laws harassed her for dowry. oc
