The Kulhad Pizza couple is again embroiled in a controversy after members of the Nihang Sikh community have created a scene outside their restaurant here, issuing them a stern warning. The Nihangs, led by Baba Maan Singh, demanded the couple to delete a viral video they deemed inappropriate and harmful to children.

They threatened to take strict action if the police did not intervene by October 18, stating they would shut down the couple’s restaurant themselves.

In a protest a few days ago, Baba Maan Singh had planned a dharna against the couple today. However, this morning, he released a video, stating that the protest had been postponed for four days due to Valmiki Jayanti falling on Thursday.

Despite that, tensions remain there. The Nihangs served an ultimatum on the couple: if the ‘controversial viral video’ and other videos reflecting intimacy are not removed from social media, they will take action. They added that if the couple wishes to continue posting such videos, the man must avoid wearing a Sikh turban, as it is considered a disrespect to the Sikh community.

Meanwhile, this isn’t for the first time that the couple has faced backlash. Earlier, the Nihangs had protested outside their restaurant over the video, accusing them of disrespect to society. Despite police calming down the situation, the group made it clear that they would escalate their action if no resolution was reached.

In a new twist, Hindu leader Sadhvi Devi Thakur has supported the couple, questioning why only they are being targeted. The couple itself released a video, stating they plan to visit the Golden Temple to seek clarity on the matter and have appealed for protection from Akal Takht Sahib.
