The Army organised an exhibition of modern weapons of Infantry for 600 NCC cadets and students at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Maj Gen Atul Bhadoria, Brig Ajay Tiwari, Group Commander, NCC Jalandhar, and other Commanding Officers of the Group and Infantry Officers were also present to boost the morale of the cadets. Maj Gen Atul Bhadoria interacted with the cadets and encouraged them to serve the nation by joining the Indian Armed Forces.

The event began with the cadets saluting Maj Gen Bhadoria with a Guard of Honour. NCC cadets and students were full of curiosity for the weapon exhibition. Maj Gen Bhadoria and other officers posed for photographs with NCC cadets to mark the memorable day. The Army officer addressing the cadets said the Indian Army is ready to do anything for the nation.

Brig Ajay Tiwari listened to the briefing prepared by the cadets on the layout, training, food, facilities and security of the NCC camp. Col Vinod Joshi, Camp Commandant, informed the Group Commander about the preparations made by cadets for the Republic Day camp at Delhi.

The Group Commander interacted with the cadets participating in the Republic Day competitions and encouraged them to perform well. Brig Tiwari thanked Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Principal, DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, for helping in the NCC camp and providing all administrative facilities.

The grand event concluded with tea and conversation with the cadets.
