Actor and film producer Arbaaz Khan inaugurated Cineport Club, known as the place where ‘Theatre Meets Lifestyle’, on the 4th floor of PPR Mall, Mithapur Road, here on Saturday.

With activities such as stand-up comedy, live performances and movie nights, visitors would enjoy top-notch entertainment and also indulge in delicious food. The club is set to become the go-to destination for entertainment and dining in the city. The launch also featured the opening of the VFC food chain, which was a major highlight.

Two flagship brands from VFC, ‘Gateway of Punjab’ and ‘Gateway of South’, are now available in Jalandhar, offering delightful options for lovers of Punjabi and South Indian cuisine. Deepak Kumar Sharma, founder and CEO of Village Group, said, “With Cineport Club, we aim to offer the people of Jalandhar a completely new and unique entertainment experience. Following the success of Cineport’s Cinema Gurugram venue, we were inspired to bring this experience to Jalandhar. Our goal is to connect with those who see entertainment as a way of life and to provide them with a platform where they can enjoy various forms of entertainment aligned with their interests; stand-up comedy, open mic nights, live bands and film screenings are all part of the Cineport Club.”

The founder of Cineport Club and president and CEO of Village Group Deepak Kumar Sharma, chairman Anil Chopra, the vice-chairperson, Sangeeta Chopra, managing directors PPR Prince Chopra and Rajan Chopra, along with head of operations and marketing Girish Wankhede, were also present at the event.
