900 rolls of China dor seized

In a major action against sellers of China dor, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police led by Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma have recovered 900 rolls of the banned thread and arrested one person.

Commissioner Sharma revealed that the police had received information about Akhil Dua and Subhash Dua, residents of Nijatam Nagar near KGS Palace in Jalandhar, allegedly storing the illegal material in their homes. Following this, an FIR was registered under Section 223 BNS at Police Station Division Number 5 and raids were swiftly conducted.

During the operation, 900 rolls of China dor were seized from the suspects' premises. While one person has been apprehended, raids are ongoing to arrest others involved. Commissioner Sharma emphasized that the investigation is still underway and additional details will be shared as they emerge.
