7 arrested with drugs, liquor in Hoshiarpur dist

The police have arrested seven suspects after recovering drugs and smuggled liquor from their possession in the district. According to information, the Mahilpur police arrested Vishal Kumar, alias Vishal, of Langeri Road, and recovered 3 gram of narcotic powder and sedative injections from him.

The police arrested Kamaldeep, alias Deepa, of Garhshankar, and recovered 35 gram of heroin and a large quantity of intoxicating pills from him. The Sadar police arrested Ashok Kumar, alias Bittu, of Satiyal village, and recovered 9,000 ml of liquor from him. Similarly, the Mukerian police arrested Vipan Kumar of Kishanpura and recovered 37,500 ml of liquor from him. The Tanda police arrested Mahesh Kumar of Bagowal and recovered a large quantity of intoxicating pills from him. In another incident the Tanda police arrested Hari Om of Rada village and recovered 10 gram of heroin from his possession. The Dasuya police arrested Lovepreet, alias Love, of Himantpur village, and recovered 68 gram of narcotic powder from him.
