Territorial Army recruitment drive gets huge response across Kashmir Valley

The Army said on Saturday said it has conducted successfully Territorial Army (TA) recruitment drive across Kashmir Valley which witnessed “unprecedented participation” that provided the opportunity and engagement to the aspiring candidates across the region.

Srinagar-based defence spokesperson said rally was held in Kupwara, Baramulla & JAK LI Regt Centre, from November 8 to 27. He said this is the first time post Covid -19 pandemic when a TA recruitment rally at such a large scale has been conducted.

“High point of the rally was the enthusiasm amongst the youth to join the TA and be the harbinger of peace & development in the region, shunning the false propaganda of terror,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson quoting a senior Army official said, "We are immensely proud of the remarkable turnout and the exceptional talent displayed by our candidates. This recruitment drive has been a testament to the dedication and passion of our youth towards Nation Building.”
