Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that mortal remains of a Jammu youth, who had died in Canada, are likely to reach Jammu on October 18.

“After a long strenuous effort, the death certificate, no-objection certificate (NoC) and death registration certificate have been obtained in case of late Udhay Pratap Singh, resident of Ratnuchak, Jammu,” Singh wrote on X.

Udhay Pratap Singh from Jammu region had died in Canada in a road accident.

The minister said the family would be relieved to know that the mortal remains of the deceased are likely to reach India on October 18. “Profoundly grateful to the Ministry of External Affairs as well as the Consulate General of India in Vancouver, Canada,” the minister said.
