Ladakh L-G launches e-Daakhil portal
Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Brigadier BD Mishra (retd), launched the e-Daakhil portal at the secretariat on Monday. The portal is meant for general public for the e-filing of their complaints.
Advisor to the L-G, Pawan Kotwal, administrative secretaries and officials from National Informatics Centre (NIC) were present during the event. The launch of the portal is a significant step towards digitising consumer complaint redressal in Ladakh.
Developed under the Consumer Protection Act-2019, which came into effect in July 2020, the e-Daakhil portal empowers consumers to file complaints online with the Consumer Commissions in Ladakh. This platform eliminates the need for physical visits and enables seamless online payment of fees.
Officials from NIC provided a detailed presentation on the functionalities and benefits of the e-Daakhil portal.
Key features of the e-Daakhil portal include online complaint filing as consumers can now submit their complaints from the comfort of their homes or offices, saving time and effort; the easy payment process, the real-time tracking of their complaints online, enhanced transparency and accountability in the consumer complaint redressal process.
The L-G commended the officials for the portal, stating that it would save consumer’s time, money and energy.
