IEC Electric Power Ltd inaugurates manufacturing plant in J-K’s Kathua

1.50 lakh square feet plant is equipped with advanced technology and produces 6,000 DG sets annually

IEC Electric Power Ltd, an original equipment manufacturer for Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, inaugurated its manufacturing facility for CPCB IV+ compliant DG sets on Tuesday in Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir.

The curtain-raiser ceremony was done by Gauri Kirloskar, Managing Director, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, in the presence of Chairman Atul Kirloskar, Guest of Honour Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, and Arun Manhas, Director of Industries and Commerce, Jammu.

Both Atul and Gauri Kirloskar commended the strong 25-year partnership between Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd and IEC Electric Power Ltd.

Satish Goel, Managing Director of IEC Electric Power Ltd, highlighted that the 1.50 lakh square feet plant is equipped with advanced technology and can produce 6,000 DG sets annually, ranging from 7.5 kVA to 2020 kVA, all adhering to CPCB IV+ emission standards.

He further emphasised that IEC Electric Power Ltd offers a comprehensive and turnkey power solutions, including DG sets, LT/HT electric panels, compact substations, addressing the diverse needs of industries across the board.
