A three-day capacity building programme for dairy farmers from various blocks of the district began in Kargil on Wednesday. The workshop is being held to “enhance the knowledge and skills of local dairy farmers, empowering them to adopt modern practices for improved dairy production and livestock management.”

Dr Gulzar Hussain, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO) Kargil, highlighted the importance of such collaborations in bringing high-quality training and valuable insights to the region.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
