Ahead of poll on September 18, the Doda district police received training in anti-drone equipment handling to deal with any kind of terror threat.

Deputy Inspector General of police, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban range, Shridhar Patil, paid a visit to Doda where demonstration about the anti-drone equipment-handling session was organised by M/s Azista. A detailed presentation was given by expert Ehud Lowy who apprised Patil about anti-drone counter techniques and capabilities.

SSP Doda Mohd Aslam, SP OPs Sunil Kumar Kesar, DSP headquarters Ajay Anand, DSP Aakash Kohli, DSP Parmveer Singh among others were also present. Experts from M/s Azista demonstrated Enforce Air2, an RF-based cyber takeover technology that delivers advanced capabilities to overcome rogue drone challenges across deployment and sectors.

An official informed that representatives of the firm demonstrated how a drone could be taken down and how a drone could be safely taken into control by using a counter-drone system, thereby preventing aerial subversive activity.
