BJP reviews membership drive progress in Kathua
Senior BJP leader Pawan Sharma held a review meeting to assess the progress of the party’s membership drive in Basohli area of Kathua on Sunday. The meeting was attended by senior party leaders and workers.
During the meeting, Sharma emphasised the importance of strengthening the party’s presence in J&K. He urged party workers to work tirelessly to increase the party’s membership and reach out to people in every panchayat, village and household.
Sharma also discussed strategies to effectively implement the party’s membership drive, including the use of social media and outreach programmes. He stressed the need for party workers to be proactive and engage with people at the grassroots level.
Sharma said that BJP has been actively working to increase its presence in J&K and the review meeting is a step towards achieving this goal. With the party’s focus on strengthening its grassroots presence, it is likely that the BJP will emerge as a strong force in the state’s politics, he said.
Sharma also called for international attention to address the plight of persecuted minorities in Bangladesh.
